Vendors are cautioned that only authorized individuals may sign contracts, orders, or agreements on behalf of Texas State in accordance with University Policy and Procedures (Ref: UPPS 03.04.02 “Contracting Authority to Commit the University”).
 

A contract signed by an unauthorized person is not binding on Texas State.

If unsure, it is strongly recommended that the successful Respondent confirm the authority of any Texas State employee who approves any resulting contract or agreement with the Texas State Director of Contract Compliance (512-245-2550 or rm01@txstate.edu ), or contact the University Attorney’s Office at 512-245-2530.
