We are pleased to offer and encourage all employees to participate in the direct deposit program.  Participation by Texas State Employees in the direct deposit program increased from 83% to 89% in the year ended August 31, 2008.  If you have already signed up for direct deposit, it is not necessary to resubmit information unless your election or banking information has changed.  Have a great semester.

Campus payroll news:

The monthly payroll for January 2009 will be paid on Monday, February 2, 2009.

Upcoming semi-monthly payrolls, for hourly and student employees, will be paid on Thursday, January 15, 2009 (for the pay period 12/07/08 - 12/31/08) and on Friday, January 30, 2009 (for the pay period 01/01/09 - 01/15/09). 

FYI: During the fiscal year ended August 31, 2008, the Payroll Office's 8 staff members processed over 89,000 payroll payments (direct deposits and checks), totaling over $121 million.
