2012-2017 Campus Master Plan UpdateIn September 2010, Texas State University-San Marcos initiated a review and update of the 2006-2015 Campus Master Plan (CMP) with the assistance of Broaddus Planning of Austin, TX. The update is being carried out in 3 phases (Analysis & Assessment, Symposia, and Recommendations & Reporting) with the primary purpose of re-examining the principles and implementation plan that guide the development of the University. The symposia phase will focus on student housing, transportation, utilities infrastructure, and sustainability with recommendations incorporated into the updated implementation plan. The Master Plan Update is projected to conclude in August 2011 with a presentation to The Texas State University System (TSUS) Board of Regents. For a full summary of the schedule, click here. You can provide feedback to the Master Plan Update process directly through email at the link below, as well as through participation in community meetings and workshops open to the campus community that will be publicized through mailings and media announcements.
