Status: The design is 35% complete. A CM@R was selected, but contract negotiations were unsuccessful. Construction delivery methods and phased schedule alternatives are currently under consideration.

The University selected TBG Partners of Austin to design the project in 2005. Due to funding limitations for the project, the University engaged the Architect to develop a site analysis, conceptual schematic designs and preliminary plans with cost estimates to define the limits of project scope. A feasibility design and cost estimate were completed by the A/E and approved by the University stakeholders. The A-E contract for completion of the project was awarded and design development documents initiated after multiple stakeholder meetings.
