The Student Recreation Center expansion includes a new 94,419 gross square foot two-level expansion building northwest of the existing facility. It will be composed of: 1) a natatorium including two pools, 2) a rock climbing facility, 3) multi-purpose group exercise studios and major fitness / cardio areas, 4) expanded basketball, volleyball and indoor soccer playing courts, and 5) auxiliary and office spaces. Additionally, the existing Student Recreation Center Building will be partially renovated. Bartlett Cocke was selected as the project Construction Manager at Risk in September 2006.
