As part of the North Campus Enhancement package, the Cogeneration Plant Expansion project provides for the expansion of existing chilled water capacity meeting an immediate need with regards to improving system reliability and capability to handle future load growth on campus. This project will require the physical expansion of the existing facility with the expansion capable of supporting a future capacity of 4000 tons of chilled water production equipment. The base scope of this project will only include the installation of 2000 tons of chilled water production equipment with room to expand.
