01. PURPOSE
| 01.01 | To define the procedure for administrative appointments and status changes to be made by the President of the university to the Board of Regents. |
02. DEFINITIONS
| 02.01 | For the purposes of this FSS/PPS, the term "Administrative Appointments" includes Administrative Officers, Unclassified Staff and Faculty. |
03. PROCEDURE
| 03.01 | On April 1 of each year, the Human Resources Office will compile a list of all administrative officer appointments. This list will include the name, title, and degree of each administrative officer. Similarly, the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs will compile a list of all faculty appointments. The Human Resources Office and the Provost/VPAA will forward the lists to the Vice President for Finance and Support Services. The VPFSS will consolidate the administrative officer and faculty appointment lists into board order format and submit the order to President's Cabinet for review and approval during the May Board of Regents meeting. |
| 03.02 | Thirty days after each scheduled quarterly board meeting the Human Resources Office will compile a list of any appointments, terminations, promotions, or status changes of full-time unclassified and administrative employees which have occurred since the last listing was prepared for the previous quarterly board meeting. The Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs will compile a similar list for any faculty personnel actions. The Human Resources Office and the Provost/VPAA will forward the lists to the Vice President for Finance and Support Services who will consolidate the two lists into board order format and submit the order to President's Cabinet for review and approval at each Board of Regents meeting. |
| 03.03 | The chief university administrative officer is the President. Other university administrative officers are vice presidents and deans. A listing of all university administrative officers appears in the University Pay Plan available on the Human Resources office website. |
