The Environmental Health, Safety & Risk Management office provides a one stop shop for insurance needs and requirements for the Texas State community and is the point of contact with the State Office of Risk Management (SORM) for the following types of insurance:

• Statewide property insurance
• Events coverage
• Workers' Compensation (jointly administered with Human Resources)
• Directors' and Officer Liability insurance
• Automobile coverage
• Volunteer insurance
